"American Idol" runner-up Adam Lambert recently did a collaboration in studio with Lady Gaga, and it is not out of the realm of possibility that the two could continue working together in the future. Gaga announced last week that she would be embarking on a new tour entitled "The Monster Ball," and told Rolling Stone on Thursday that the tour itself would be an "innovative" sort of "pop-electro opera."
Sound familiar? It should, because Lambert has frequently used similar terms to describe his own music. There is actually quite a bit in common between the two even when you take away their recent partnership: both have a knack for versatility, love fashion, and aren't afraid to talk openly about their sexuality. In the entertainment business right now, it's pretty much well-known that the personality is almost as equally important as the music itself. Both Lambert and Lady Gaga have the ability to get audiences excited and people talking. Therefore, a tour partnership could be a match made in heaven.
On the other hand, there would be many potential issues to hammer out. Adam Lambert's debut album, "For Your Entertainment," will not be released until November 23; in addition, we haven't even heard the debut single from the album. Even though the two may not end up touring together, each party could significantly help the other in terms of both bringing in an audience and allowing them to be a part of a full show that doesn't solely include music.
