Did you know every bit of plastic that has ever been created still exists? Well, Lauren Alaina does and she and the rest of the "American Idol" season 10 top 11 finalists want to do something to put a stop to plastic pollution.

So Alaina, along with Scotty McCreery, Haley Reinhart, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Naima Adedapo and Thia Megia -- reunited recently. Not for another concert, but to inspire fans to refuse disposable plastic -- according to the Plastic Pollution Coalition,  the greatest source of plastic pollution on our planet.

The "Idols" ask us to take the 4 R's pledge: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. And since they ask so nicely, well, how can we refuse? Well, we can refuse disposable plastic, but not Scotty and Lauren.

To help spread the word, the season 10 top 11 created a video -- you're seeing it here first at Zap2it for the PPC. All donated their time and efforts to the REFUSE Campaign -- an initiative aimed at inspiring people to end their dependence on disposable plastic.

Director/producer Kate Miller and Mirror Films created the video. Along with the PSA there will be a Facebook Causes' Wish Campaign launching this week, spearheaded by Haley Reinhart and the rest of the "Idol" top 11. The goal is to raise $50,000 for the REFUSE campaign and -- bonus -- one lucky fan who donates will win a one of a kind, autographed guitar signed by all 11 finalists. So, watch it and see if you aren't inspired to think twice about your own plastic consumption.
