Finalist Stefano Langone was eliminated on AMERICAN IDOL after he received the fewest of America's more than 52 million votes. On Wednesday's performance show, the Top 7 performed songs from the 21st century, and Langone, 21, from Kent, WA, sang "Closer." Last Week's episode also featured performances by Season Seven IDOL winner David Cook and pop sensation Katy Perry with rap superstar Kanye West.
On Wednesday, April 27 (8:00-9:30 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), the Top 6 finalists - Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery and Haley Reinhart - return to the IDOL stage to perform the songs of legendary singer/songwriter Carole King.
Tune in the following night, Thursday, April 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), to the live results show to find out who receives enough votes to stay in the competition and who is sent home.
