Jennifer Lopez is ready to take her seat on American Idol and she has been taping shows during the auditions process. From what can be seen in this video clip, it seems like J-Lo is going to be the positive, caring judge, who tells everybody that it's okay to follow their dreams (wonder what she'll say if "Pants on the Ground" guy makes a return?)There is something to be said for a giant name in the entertainment industry to acknowledge what these hopeful singers are really doing--putting it all on the line in front of celebrity judges and the world and doing it regardless of the outcome. It's one thing to be rejected when no one else is around--it's another to have it done in front of the whole country at the same time.

Of course, J-Lo, whose career needs a little reinvigoration, remembers what is really important in her life--her kids! Her family! And that was obvious by the way she paraded her 2-year-old twins around during the auditions. Emme and Max are obviously the apples of their mom's eye and, although the big payday and the exposure J-Lo will get from an entire season of AI is great, being with those little babies is greater for her.
