American Idol's season 9 runner-up Crystal Bowersox got married over the weekend to her musician fiance Brian Walker, according to People magazine. The 25-year-old singer has married her fiance after a whirlwind romance, the Daily Mail reported.

Bowersox, who started out on the show as firm favourite but was pipped to the winning post by Lee DeWyze, married Walker just weeks after announcing their engagement and merely months after finishing her previous, long-time relationship. The couple exchanged vows on Sunday in Chicago, her representative confirmed to the magazine.
"I can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We're one happy WalkerSox family," Bowersox told People magazine. She wore an eco-friendly hemp and cotton gown from Vermont designer Tara Lynn for the wedding. Her one-year-old son, Tony, from a previous relationship, served as the ring bearer.
The couple were married in front of 60 family members and friends at the Uncommon Ground nightclub where they originally met during open mike night six years ago.
Among the friends and family in attendance were Season 9 Idol contestant Didi Benami and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Lance Barber.
