When can we wake from this "Dream? American Idol judge and co-creator Simon Cowell has signed on to produce a quickie documentary about British singer Susan Boyle titled no surprise here "I Dreamed a Dream.The Susan Boyle Story.

Don't get us wrong, the singer's story is still pretty nifty: The frumpy, seemingly unpolished Boyle totally shocked "Britain's Got Talent" judges in January 2009 with a beautiful rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables.Since then, though, Boyle has clung to the song with an amazing kung-fu grip. Sure, her album ostensibly has other songs on it, but what does she sing in every single public appearance? "I Dreamed a Dream." The documentary will, yes, feature Boyle singing Dream.Wake us when she branches out. I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story" is set to air Dec. 13 on the TV Guide Network.
